The Flock web browser lost its charm. It offered a lot of stuff that I didn't use. I liked the Facebook integration and the ability to post blog entries offline. In the end, Flock go in its own way:
- Flock is built on Firefox2 - I prefer Firefox3.
- Flock is *very* busy - almost distracting.
- Being a browser derivative, I don't have enough faith in its longevity for me to use it instead of Firefox.
I found the Facebook Toolbar add-on for Firefox. That took care of the Facebook integration Flock provides. For blog posting, I've found this little tool called Qumana. I like it so far. Mac and Windows only. Maybe a Linux or Java version will appear someday.
