The Simplicity of Getting Ready for Bed

I was watching the kids last night while the parents were at church. I was getting Mackenzie ready for bed so her parents wouldn't have to. I wasn't quite sure what's involved with "getting ready for bed". So, Mackenzie led me the whole way.

2008 Sucks

Playing on the iPod: "Cut Me, Mick" by Yellowcard, "Split Screen Sadness" by John Mayer and "If Trouble Was Money" by Mint Condition.

The title says it all. I started 2008 with high hopes thinking this would be my year. I had a good job. Mackenzie makes me love her more every time I see her. I was confident about dating: I had a few prospects that I felt positive about pursuing. Yep, 2008 was going to be a good year for me.

Recap of 2007 (so far)

Playing on the iPod: "Revolution Cry" by Steve Fee, "My Hope" by David Crowder Band and "The Blood" by Shane & Shane.

I find myself with tons of thoughts in my head that are dying to get out. It's been almost a year since I last journaled any real thoughts - apart from musical worship. So much has changed since last fall

Little Things

Playing on the iPod: "Holy Is The Lord" by Chris Tomlin, "Wholly Yours" by David Crowder Band and "We've Come To Declare" by Shane & Shane.

I think it's fair to say that I've been brought low by the 'little things' that have been happening lately. As such, life seems to have gotten better by just experiencing some good 'little things'.

Love Is Not Analog, It's Digital

Playing on the iPod: "How Great Is Our God" by Chris Tomlin and "500 Miles" by Steven Curtis Chapman.

It was hard to categorize this entry. It's a little bit "everyday" and a little bit "spiritual". I was having an email conversation with my sister about April. My sister thinks I fall too easily for women. I thought this section would make a good posting.
