Love & Beauty

At the doctor's office today, I was reading a People magazine. Among their most beautiful people was Sarah Larson: former "Fear Factor" contestant and current girlfriend of George Clooney. One particular question People asked Sarah got my attention.

Q: Do you feel more beautiful when you're in love?
A: Doesn't everyone?

Well said.

2008 Sucks

Playing on the iPod: "Cut Me, Mick" by Yellowcard, "Split Screen Sadness" by John Mayer and "If Trouble Was Money" by Mint Condition.

The title says it all. I started 2008 with high hopes thinking this would be my year. I had a good job. Mackenzie makes me love her more every time I see her. I was confident about dating: I had a few prospects that I felt positive about pursuing. Yep, 2008 was going to be a good year for me.

  • I've missed watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

R.I.P. Joan

No, Joan is not dead. However, my relationship to her is finished. For the history of this on-going problem, read this post of mine.

This week, Joan called me. I happened to be sleeping, so no conversation happened. Brian mentioned to me that Joan had made her own blog entry about how she broke off her engagement. It was the same old thing all over again. I was fed up.
